Introduction

About Me

Started in 2010 as a mobile game developer, and continued as a game production deeply integrated with Keiss Media, in 2012 Lilium refocused itself as a service company, providing consulting, R&D and UX services for businesses, agencies and digital productions, along with training sessions for developers, HRs and decision makers. Not being a full-service production made it possible to feel market trends, create cutting-edge interactive experiences, and deeper calloboration with clients, without the task of selling the products the business won't need.

Profile Questions

What do you like most about your profession?

I like that the rapid evolution of technology helps people to do things in more and more immediate and effective way, and I can help the businesses to ride this wave.

What are 3 attributes you need to be successful in your industry?

1. Being an analyst to understand what the client really needs and what is the best path for this particular project to get it done. 2. Understanding how people change with technology. Most new things are advertised by groundbreaking and change nothing in life and business processes, but there are some that do gradually change the way people and businesses work. 3. Being capable of delivering the results with the good quality.

What are your biggest professional influences (books, mentors, events)?

- For creating presentations and storytelling: "Resonate" by Nancy Duarte - For converting ideas to results: "Making ideas happen" by Scott Belsky - For creating IT projects/services - "Getting real" by 37signals

Work/Experience

CTO, co-founder at Keiss Media

March 2011 - May 2012
Creating Keiss Media was a great challenge of merging digital production and game production teams, that resulted in becoming a great, competent and agressive player in Russian digital production market with great experience in social apps, mobile apps production, interactive BTL experience and the great game development specialists. This became the core company focus, and we took maximum within it: for example, the fact that the production team could create not only iOS and Android, but Symbian, Blackberry, Bada, J2ME and HTML5 mobile applications was a great strength itself. The level of QA and service untypical for russian companies in this area helped getting clients from EU and US. Being the production for a number of award-winning digital marketing cases in CIS during 2011-2012, Keiss Media continues its active growth, acquiring the best people and teams in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Since May 2012, the processes and service quality became great and stable, allowing me to get out of company processes' involvement, keeping an eye on it as an external consultant.

Founder at Lilium

November 2010 - Present
Started in 2010 as a mobile game developer, and continued as a game production deeply integrated with Keiss Media, in 2012 Lilium refocused itself as a service company, providing consulting, R&D and UX services for businesses, agencies and digital productions, along with training sessions for developers, HRs and decision makers. CTO, co-founder at Ermine Digital Agency

December 2009 - November 2010
Creating Ermine Digital Agency was a first try of "creating-something-own" to utilize my and my partners' experience on working at digital marketing. For less than a year, the company has grown from 4 to 20 people, and was working with creative agencies from BBDO, Publicis and Aegis Media groups, along with a number of direct clients. In summer-autumn 2010 the "Old Spice Brotherhood" social network campaign was launched (in collaboration with Saatchi & Saatchi Russia), resulting in brand community of 100 000 people, and successful brand target audience transition to being younger. By the end of 2010 I understood that "making-everything-in-digital-marketing" is not the view I shared, so I stopped being the part of the company by selling my stake to one of the partners.

Flash Developer at Various clients

September 2006 - March 2009
Developing various browser-based, mobile and desktop solutions using flash. The projects' type and scale greatly varied - from creating photo rotators and video players to programming the frontend for video service startup, with mixed youtube and video chat functionality in 2007. The experience included working with FlashLite (Windows Mobile, 8 Mb RAM was maximum for single FlashLite application), and writing ActionScript 3.0 code when the tools and Flash Player itself were in beta stages.
